Slow In and Fast Out: Inspire people to be passionate

Inspiring passion is about giving people a comfortable place to be themselves.

I recommend creating a non-threatening environment, and spend some time asking people a few key questions:


  • What do you like about the work?
  • What area would you like to grow, e.g. <insert relevant examples>?
  • If you were me, what would you focus your attention on?


Our job is to hear the ideas we don’t have and figure out how to make them happen. That’s the value of experience.
